London Sound Gallery – online broadcast

London Sound Gallery Festival, produced by The Gesualdo Six

The Hermes Experiment connect creative beginnings to nostalgic farewells and inevitable endings: works by Emily Hall, Errollyn Wallen and Alex Mills are performed alongside arrangements of pieces by Anna Meredith and Peter Maxwell Davies. Two new graphic scores by Anna Disley-Simpson and Jacob Fitzgerald, selected from a recent open ‘Call for Scores’, will be premiered by The Hermes Experiment and The Gesualdo Six in a collaborative performance.

Live at ROSL

We are delighted to be returning to ROSL in December to give a recital. Our programme will feature works by Freya Waley-Cohen, Errollyn Wallen, Graham Ross and Jeremy Thurlow as well as new arrangements of Clara Schumman and Lili Boulanger songs.

Album Celebration

Kings Place, 8pm

After six years and over sixty commissions, The Hermes Experiment celebrates its unique contribution to the new music scenes with the launch of their debut album HERE WE ARE. With their unique line-up of harp, clarinet, soprano and double bass, the sounds heard both live and recorded are like you’ve never heard before. The concert will feature works from their new album, released on Delphian Records, which includes some of the ensemble’s most-loved commissions from the past six years, travelling between different styles to showcase the possibilities of this distinctive line-up.
