Joel Rust




Joel Rust (b. 1989, London) has received performances throughout the UK, in the USA, France, Holland, Germany, Israel, Colombia, and Russia, has been broadcast on BBC Radio 3, Radio France Musique, and Radio 4 (Netherlands). He is currently pursuing a Doctorate at New York University, supported by a MacCracken Fellowship, and previously studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Harvard University, and Emmanuel College, Cambridge.

Recently, he has been selected for the American Composers Orchestra 2016 Underwood New Music Readings, and has received an Honorable Mention in the 2016 ASCAP Morton Gould Young Composer Awards, and a Jerwood Opera Writing Fellowship to develop a new work with poet David Troupes.
